HOW TO INCREASE ATTENDANCE AT YOUR SPAS/PARTIES
Would you like to increase attendance at your spas, events and parties? If so, commit to try this system for your next four (4) parties and watch your attendance increase, which means more sales, more bookings and more new team members!
- THE GUEST LIST:
As the hostess to provide you with her guest list within 24 to 48 hours of booking her spa/party. Give her an incentive/special gift if she provides it within that time frame. You will want to get the guest's mailing address, e-mail address and telephone number. We have provided a guest list that you can download and reproduce to put in your hostess packets.
You will get better attendance if YOU (the consultant) send out the invitations because you have taken away the chance that the hostess may forget to send them out.
- CHOOSING THE RIGHT INVITATION:
Some consultants just offer 3 or 4 different choices for invitations/themes, while others like to offer 12 to 15 different options. Whatever you decide to do, it is best to let your hostess choose which invitation and/or theme she would like to send to her guests. Order a Sample Pack/Key Ring, which includes 15 to 20 of our best-selling invitations, and pass it around at the end of your spas/parties/events. It gets the guests excited about all of the choices that you have to offer. It makes it fun...and girls LOVE to have a fun at a good party!
- ADDRESSING/COMPLETING THE INVITATION:
You can either hand write the invitations, personalize them on your inkjet printer or print the information out on labels...whatever you have time for!
Some consultants prefer to send the invitation inside of an A-6 Envelope. If you do this, it is best to either hand write the address or run them through your printer. If you use an envelope, you can also include special money-saving coupons, on-time drawing tickets and other information/goodies. Regardless if you use an envelope or not, you should always use your hostesses' return address on the invitation and/or the envelope, because the guest will recognize their name/address, and may not know who you are.
- COMMUNICATION WITH YOUR HOSTESS:
It is important to let your hostess know when the invitations have all been mailed out. You can do this by sending her a confirmation postcard or one of the fun hostess follow-up ePostcards from www.Spa-evites.com...or both physical postcard AND an ePostcard would be best!
- SPA-eVITES.COM:
Three to five days before the event, send out a Spa-eVite to the guest list. Why should you send out both a physical invitation AND a Spa-eVite? Because what happens if the invitation got lost in the mail, or the guest misplaced it...or it could just be a simple reminder of the event. PLUS with the RSVP system at Spa-eVites, you can find out who has RSVP'd "yes", "no", "maybe"...PLUS how many guests each of the invited guests will be coming. Make sure you put your hostess on that eVites list.
- REMINDER E-MAIL:
One of the many benefits using Spa-eVites.com, you will have the option of creating a reminder e-mail to be sent out either the day of or 1-14 days prior to the scheduled party/spa.
- REMINDER PHONE CALL TO GUESTS:
There are a couple different reasons to contact the guests...one is to let the guest know you are excited to meet them at the hostesses spa/party. Another great reason is to ask the guest if she has any skin care concerns, and invite her to either fill out the eProfile or ask her some simple questions about her skin. If you are asking her the questions, use the Skin Care Questionnaire form and complete the top part of the form. Then you can simply give her the form when she arrives at the spa/party with her guest lapboard or folder.
- REMINDER PHONE CALL TO HOSTESS:
This is a great time to remind the hostess that Outside Orders count towards her sales goal for her spa/party. If she doesn't have any outside orders yet, challenge her to get $100 in outside orders and remind/tell her of a special gift you will have for her. Very shortly, we will have an Outside Order Form that you will be able to download and reproduce to put in your hostess packets.
- AFTER THE SPA/PARTY:
It is important to send the guests a "Thank You" or "It Was Nice Meeting You" postcard or ePostcard. GREAT NEWS!!! Customer follow-up ePostcards are free to all spa-evites.com customers who have an active membership. You can also send a "We Missed You" ePostcard to those guests who were unable to attend the spa/party. Who knows...you might be able to get those guests excited about booking and holding their own spa/party.
Who is the most important person to follow-up with? The hostess...yes it is vital to send a "Thank You" postcard or ePostcard to your hostess. Remember...your best hostesses are repeat hostesses, and if you show them how much you appreciate them, they are more apt to book another spa/party with you in the future.
